Portugal’s Dão Wine Region: Part 1 of 2 with Sara Dionisio

In the center of Portugal, the Dão is an isolated wine region that Sara Dionisio of Casa de Mouraz describes as being much like Burgundy in the sense that it has many small vineyards. The soil is granitic in the Dão and gives a mineral quality to many of them.

Sara sat with Ask a Winemaker at Red and White Wines in January of 2014.
